  1. My favorite costume was when I dressed as Ruth Buzzi's Laugh-In character, Gladys Ormphby, the old spinster. My then husband dressed as Tyrone F. Horneigh, the dirty old man. Together we crashed 2 Halloween parties! NO ONE knew who were were. I had fun smacking the guys with my ugly purse and Tyrone handed out Walnettos (real ones!). It was hilarious to see the expressions on the faces of friends & acquaintances.

  2. My second best costume was dressing as a "dead" bride in a raggedy bridal gown & torn veil with a skeleton face. My best friend dressed as my "dead" bridesmaid. We both carried brown flower bouquets. We were 13 years old and had fun running up behind the younger kids to scare them. Awful teenagers!

  3. That's the costume my daughter requested this year! Thanks for the skeleton face idea. :)

  4. I have to do office Halloween dress up every year. I am a little bummed not to be able to go buy the mask with the rubber band in the back. I had no idea they had stopped selling them until now.

  5. Ha! I always seem to end up painting my daughter blue or green or something, for that very reason! No more masks.
